Nathan Mitchell aka N8 is a Christian rapper. N8 grew up in a Christian home. When he was six years old, N8 became a Christian while reading a kid's gospel tract that his mom was reading to him while sitting on the couch in their living room. N8 wasn't into music for a really long time. Only really listening to what his mom and dad listened to. Later N8 went to a dodgeball event at a church that his friend Timmy invited him to where he heard Christian rap music. N8 hadn't ever heard much of any Christian rap before and started to listen to it more. He had only mosty heard some secular rap music and had written some secular rap songs. Realizing that his talent should be used for the Lord, N8 started writing Christian rap songs at 15 years old. The first Christian rap CD that N8 bought was Lecrae's album Rehab: Overdose. After listening to that CD, N8 was even more into Christian rap music and wanted to write even more. N8 got into more Christian rap artists than just Lecrae. Trip Lee and KB were some of N8's next favorite artists. N8 began to get more and more into Christian rap music. Some more of N8's favorite Christian rappers are Ty The Berean, Jadee Lamez, Social Club, Andy Mineo, Flame, Tedashii, Derek Minor, Canon, Benjah, Alex Faith, and many, many more. Christian rap is only one style of music that N8 likes. N8 also listenes to many other genres and artists. Some of those artists include, Steve Green, Chris Rice, Kyran, Owl City, Britt Nicole, and Family Force 5.

N8's home church is Cornerstone Baptist. N8 is involved with Mt. Lou San Bible Camp where he goes to camp, attends a Bible study every other Monday, and volunteers. N8 also volunteers every Thursday at the Bethesda Youth Mission Center. N8 is currently working on an album and when finished with the album, is going to make CDs and sell them. Every penny of the sold CDs is giong to the Bethesda Youth Mission Center.

N8 has a personal message to people who have helped him out: "I want to first thank Jesus Christ for opening my eyes and saving me. I also want to thank Jesus Christ for letting me serve Him through Christian rap. I want to next thank my parents and brother for supporting me. And again thank my mom and dad for raising me and everything that they have done for me. I also want to thank my family and friends for everything they have done in my life. Next, I would like to thank Ty "Ty The Berean" Love for helping me with so much! Ty has helped me understand so many things with rap. He also told me about what mic I should get and about mixcraft. He has encouraged me, made beats for me, and so much more. I want to thank Jadee Lamez, Kyran, and anybody else who has helped me. I can't wait until I finally come out with a single (which should be soon). Thank you everybody!!"
